Here is a glimpse of my work on Assassin’s Creed Shadows, as part of the Object Bank team at Ubisoft Bordeaux.
-
I had the chance to contribute to a special crossover quest included in the main game, developed in collaboration with Behaviour Interactive and based on their Dead by Daylight license.
-
My main responsibilities included the creation of the Entity Stone, a cursed object that players must unearth to enter the Overlap, where they are hunted by the Oni. I also created supporting assets such as red algae, dead fish, and worked on a legendary trinket: I was responsible for the sculpt of the object, which was later taken over by the Character Artists for texturing and in-game integration.
-
I also contributed to the reintroduction of the original DBD totems, as well as other minor quest-related assets.
-
Additionally, I collaborated with the Level Art team on the placement of blockers and collision work to help guide the player through the quest space.
-
Tools used: ZBrush, Substance Painter, 3ds Max, and Photoshop.
-
This project is one of my first experiences in AAA production, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have contributed to such a unique and collaborative moment in the franchise.
-
Special thanks to everyone involved.
